Elmer Chance, Jr., age 83, passed away Oct. 19, at his residence, Greenwood Village South. He was born May 24, 1926, in St. Louis, MO to Elmer and Myrtle Willoughby Chance. Elmer was President and Owner/Operator of Chance Bros. Marble & Tile until his retirement in 1986. He married Alice Marie Lepper in 1945 and she preceded him in death in Oct., 2003. He is survived by three daughters, Cheryl Walden (Jerry), Cathy Ladd (David), and Cindy Dodd (Dan), one brother, David Chance (Gertrude), and two sisters. Barbara Taylor (Clarence), and Donna Scelfo, seven grandchildren and nine great grandchildren. Funeral Services will be Monday Oct. 26 at 10:30 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, with entombment to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday Oct. 25, from2:00 to 6:00 pm at the funeral home.
