Elmer Holland, 95, of Greenwood passed away January 13, 2018. He was born January 7, 1923 in Hyden, KY to Levi and Suda (Collins) Holland.

Elmer was a WWII Veteran. He retired from GM in 1985. He was also a pastor of Blaine Avenue Holiness Church for 8 years. After retiring in 1985 Elmer resided at Madison Avenue Healthcare where he enjoyed Bible study, BINGO and helping everyone that needed prayer or spiritual uplifting.

Elmer was preceded in death by his parents, Levi and Suda Holland; loving wife, Beatrice Holland; brothers, Walter and George Holland; sisters, Martha Couch and Rosie Asher.

He is survived by his sons, Ronald (Marilyn) Holland, Harold (Patricia) Holland and Garry (Merlene) Holland; 6 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. A funeral service will be held on Wednesday, January 17, 2018 at 12:00 pm, with visitation one hour prior, in Shelby Street Pentecostal Lighthouse, 8620 S. Shelby St. Indianapolis. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
