Emergine Capps, 77 of Greenwood passed away on February 7, 2019. Emergine was born on May 28, 1941 in Peytonsburg, KY to Leonard and Olene Watson. Emergine will be remembered for her vibrant contagious smile. She was a very godly woman and enjoyed reading her Bible and was a member of the Greenwood Church of Christ. Emergine knew no stranger and was loved by all. Some of her hobbies included crocheting, watching humingbirds, and she was known for her green thumb; she especially loved her flowers and plants and could keep anything alive. Emergine looked forward to her returning home trips to Kentucky to visit her parents and siblings. Most of all Emergine loved her family, and enjoyed her time spent with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.

Emergine is survived by her daughters, Lisa (Mark) Armstrong and Darlene (Bill) Cunningham; brother, Harlon (Glenda) Watson; sisters, Roberta (Ron) Johnson and Corinda Skipworth; grandchildren, Ashley (Brandon) Baxter, Scott (Breanna) Armstrong, Cami Cunningham, Lexi Cunningham and Emmi Cunningham; great grandchildren, Lincoln Baxter, Veda Baxter, Iris Baxter, Maizey Baxter and Ellick Armstrong.

Emergine is preceded in death by her husband Howard Capps;  parents, Leonard and Olene Watson; infant baby boy, Kevin Alexander; siblings, Harvey Watson, Norma Dean Spears and Syrphine Dale.
