Emilie "Roberta" Polsgrove, 85 of Crown Point, Indiana passed away on December 16, 2018. Roberta was born in Mount Stirling, Kentucky on January 17, 1933 to Charles S. Hatton and Jessie (Ginter) Hatton. Roberta was a loving and caring mother, grandmother, great grandmother and devoted wife. She will always be remembered for her hugs and great sense of humor. When her children were growing up, Roberta would make their clothing from hand. Roberta was a member of a Euchre Club for 25 years. Roberta retired from ITT Educational Services Head Quarters as a Budgeting Assistant. She loved animals; watching old movies and she really enjoyed forensics shows. Roberta was known as the diva of the nursing home, always with her hair and nails done, she enjoyed being up on the current fashion; at one point Roberta's shoe collection reached 100. She wore sparkles like her sparkling personality. Roberta loved her family and will be greatly missed.

Roberta is preceded in death by her parents; husband of 60 years, Joseph Polsgrove in 2012. She is survived by her loving children, Teresa A. (Charles) Haler, Rebecca J. (Paul) Switzer and Joseph S. (Dawn) Polsgrove, Jr.; sister, Helen Marie Neal; grandchildren, Sara (Mark) Hildebrand, Scott (Yong Mei) Keeley, April (Ian) Lotts and Michael (Emily) Switzer; great grandchildren, Cole Keeley, Hannah Myers, Adam Myers, Luke Thompson, Allyson Keeley, Olivia Thompson and Milo Switzer,.
