Obituary

Mrs. Erma Jane Sizemore, Mooresville, passed away on the morning of Monday, November 22, 2021. She was 75. Erma was born January 24, 1946 in Salem, Indiana, a daughter of the late Opal Persinger and Robertine (Mize) Stropes.

Erma had been employed at Carrier (now United Technologies) as a quality inspector and retired in 2015 after 23 years of service. She absolutely loved being outdoors and enjoyed gardening and caring for her flowers as well as watching old Western movies.

She never knew a stranger and was always very kind to anyone she encountered. Erma deeply loved her family and cherished the time they could be together. She especially adored her grandchildren and could usually be found attending their school and sports activities.

Erma is survived by her children, Brett (Deborah) Stow, Chett (Tina) Stow, Randy (Laura) Kinnaird and Tiffany Mills; her step-children, Alex (Debbie) Sizemore, Jared (Blythe) Sizemore and Mandy Sizemore; Her grandchildren, Chelsea McMaster, Casey (Shaun) Marion, Cassidy Stow, Dustin Simmerman, Linzy Stow, Brandon Kinnaird, Tyler Kinnaird, Peyton Baker, Lindsey Baker, Kaley Mills, Kenzie Mills and Drew Mills; her step-grandchildren, Morgan Sizemore, Riley Sizemore, Annie Sizemore and Eden Sizemore; her great-grandchildren, Kaydence Simmerman and Bella Simmerman; a niece, Niki Donaldson and a nephew, Brent Allen as well as a host of extended family and friends.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in passing by her husband, Ronald Dean Sizemore and her brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be conducted at 12:30 pm, Thursday, December 2, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral home. Greenwood. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

The family will receive friends from 10:30 am until the hour of service Thursday at the funeral home.

For those choosing to make a memorial contribution, the family has suggested those be offered to the American Diabetes Association or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
