Ernest E. Viewegh, 90, of Lakeland, FL passed away December 3, 2017. He was born January 16, 1927 in Indianapolis, IN to John H. and Addie (Oliver) Viewegh.

He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He was a member of the Murat Shrine Temple.

He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Mary Viewegh; parents, John H. and Addie (Oliver) Viewegh; brother, Robert Viewegh and sisters, Dorothy Maines and Janet Krueger.

Ernest is survived by his step daughter, Barbara Johnson; grandchildren, Cheri Solhan, Dawn Sahm, Lana McCurdy and Romona Watts-McCoy and several great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday, December 19, 2017 from 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm with a funeral service at 2:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
