Estelle Mae White, 97 received her wings on Tuesday, August 3 following a brief illness.

She was born May 20, 1924 in White Hall, ILL to the late Chester and Jessie (Jones) Johnson. Her family moved to Indy from Kentucky in 1943.

Estelle worked for 38 years at Uniroyal where she met her husband James, they were married in 1956. She had a passion for cooking and baking and putting love in everything she made.

She attended the Church of Nazarene for 40 years.

Estelle is survived by her children Janice Hodnett, Richard (John Dorgan)White and Jeffrey White; six grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren and two great great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by both parents; husband James White; two siblings Jane Benner and Cecil Johnson and a son in law Jim Hodnett.

A Celebration of Life will be Saturday, September 4, 2021. Visitation will be from 10 to 12 with a service following at Noon.
