Mrs. Esther Frances Biggs, Indianapolis, passed away peacefully Saturday, March 22, 2025 at Forest Creek Nursing Home. She was 100 years old. Mrs. Biggs was born in Indianapolis, Indiana, a daughter of the late John Edgar and Esther Cecilia (Sheible) Nickum.

Esther dedicated over 20 years of service to the Perry Township School System. In her free time, she was an avid bingo player and enjoyed the camaraderie it brought her over the years.

Esther is survived by her children, Robert A. Biggs, John (Donna) Biggs and Patricia (Jim) Slaymon. Esther leaves behind seven grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in passing by her husband of 63 years, Robert John Biggs as well as her sisters, Ruth Nickum, Teresa Denson and Marie Biggs.

Funeral services will be conducted at 1:00 pm, Monday, March 31, 2025 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.

Visitation will be from 11:00 AM until the time of service Monday at the funeral home.,

She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
