Esty J. Trammell, 81, of Indianapolis passed away August 13, 2021.  He was born March 23, 1940 in Indianapolis to the late Noral Esty and Lesbia Trammell.

Esty was the youngest of seven children with four brothers and two sisters.  He was married for 58 years to his loving wife, Bonnie, who passed away on June 8, 2016.  Together they had three children, Robert, Brenda Laurie, and Charles.  Esty was the founder of Interior Trim, Inc., the business he owned and operated for more than 45 years.  When he wasn't busy working, Esty enjoyed taking his family on weekend trips to Brown County, or getting away to the golf course when he needed some time alone.  Esty was a true family man, always making sure everything was prepared in advance so no one would have to worry about anything.  He will be truly missed.

Esty is survived by his daughter, Brenda Laurie; daughter-in-law, Mary Trammell; four grandchildren; five great grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents and wife, Bonnie, Esty was preceded in death by his sons; Charles and Robert; and his siblings.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 19 from 10:00am - 12:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, Indiana 46143.  Eulogies will follow at 12:00pm.
