Ethel Jean Rickey, 89, of Avon, passed away May 29, 2015. Born December 30, 1925 in Indianapolis, she was the daughter of the late Carlos and Jeanette Long Osburn.
She was a 1943 graduate of Arsenal Tech High School and a homemaker for her family.
Her survivors include two sons, Ted (Deborah) Rickey and Daniel Rickey; daughter, Deborah Wesley; three sisters, Eva Marion, Dorothy Nelson, and Doris Goodwin; seven grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Theodore, and daughter, Linda Ellingwood.
Graveside Services 10:30 a.m. June 2, 2015 at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens - 1977 South S.R. 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.
