Eugene Lewis Clark, 90, of Indianapolis, died September 2, 2014. The son of Grover and Stella (Butler) Clark, Eugene was born October 24, 1923 in Elvins, Missouri.
Eugene was an U.S. Army veteran. A tool & die maker, he retired in 1990 after 35 plus years from Kawneer. Eugene enjoyed gardening, listening to Christian music, playing euchre and pinchole and spending quality time with his family.
Eugene is survived by sons, Tom (Debbie) Clark of Alvin, TX, Tim Clark of Indianapolis, Craig (Patty) Clark of Pooler, GA, Kent (Terri) Clark of Indianapolis and Brian (Brenda) Clark of Indianapolis; daughters, Jean (Mike) Bennett of New Whiteland, Jane (Larry) Stover of Indianapolis, Joan (Bob) Shaw of Beech Grove, Lynn (Brett) Garrett of Greenwood and Helen (Irwin) Carpenter of Niles, MI; brother, James Clark of Niles, MI; 25 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren. Besides his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Josephine (Cook) Clark; brother, Howard Clark; sisters, Ethel Gobel and Virginia Luehman.
Services 4:00 p.m. September 5, 2014 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 2:00 p.m. Burial at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
