Evalee Ison-Asher, 89, passed away Sunday, October 31, 2021. She was born September 22, 1932 to
the late Blaine and Mattie Ison in Cornettsville, Kentucky.

She lived in Indianapolis, IN raising her family before returning to Kentucky. Evalee loved her church, her
family and music. She was a long-time member of the Old Regular Baptist Church.

Evalee is survived by her daughters Patricia Lentz, Shirley Allgood and Rita Cox; sisters, Bertie Beal,
Ophie Smith Doris Taylor, Dana Atwood and Gearldean Taylor; brothers, Wendel Ison, Manon Ison and
Blaine Ison, Jr.; eight grandchildren, 22 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

She is preceded in death by both parents; a sister Eulamae Haddix; a brother James Ison, her beloved son, Roger
Lee Poland and two grandchildren Elizabeth Wall and Jada Wall.

Funeral services will be conducted at 6:00 pm, Friday, Novemebr 5, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.

Visitation will be from 2:30 pm until the time of service at the funeral home
