Evelyn M. Laurence, 82, of Indianapolis, passed away July 28. She was born October 20, 1927 in Park City, KY to Adrian and Mayme L. (Welch) Snoddy. She worked and retired from Bemis Bag Co. She was an active member of Morris St. United Methodist Church. She married Allison Laurence, and he survives her, along with two daughters, Karen (Lynn) Attkisson and Janet (Jimmy) Fowler; three brothers, Harold, Ed and Bob Snoddy; two sisters Betty Gregory and Reda Hawkins; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. She was preceded in death by three brothers. Funeral sevices will be Monday, August 2, at 1:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood. Visitation will be from 11:00 to service time at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. The family requests memorial contributions to Morris St. United Methodist Church.
