Evelyn E. Boger Waddell, 85, of Greenwood, passed away August 13, 2012. The daughter of Theo Glenn and Cora Evelyn Webb Boger, Evelyn was born September 23, 1926 in Indianapolis, Indiana.
Evelyn earned her Masters Degree and worked for the Perry Township School Corporation as an elementary school teacher. She was a member of University Heights United Methodist Church and the Indiana State Teachers Association.
Pastor David Vaughn will officiate at a funeral service 2:00 p.m. August 17, 2012 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where friends may call after 1:00 p.m. Entombment will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
Evelyn is survived by her daughter, Betty Oxford of Greenwood; brother, Delbert Boger of Punta Gorda, Florida; sisters, Betty Maschino of Mooresville, Mary Hutchinson of Gosport, Wanda Foxworthy of Southport, Patricia Cragen of Martinsville and Rita Lichtsinn of Auburn; grandson, Roger Glen Boatwright of Elkins, West Virginia and great grandsons, Christopher Glen and Tanner Ray Boatwright, both of Elkins, West Virginia.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Diabetes Association or to the Johnson County Humane Society.
