Everett W. Grant, age 82, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, Nov. 16, at St. Francis Beech Grove Hospital. He was born February 15, 1927 in Christine, KY to Ira and Florence (Bryant) Grant. Everett was a WW II Army veteran. He was a salesman for Friendly Beverages for many years, and a member of Millersville F. & A.M. # 126. He married Barbara Rexroat on May 13, 1950 and she survives, along with his daughter Teresa VanWye, and husband, Randall, of Indianapolis; two brothers, Eugene and his wife Lois, and Ralph and his wife Barbara Grant, all of Indianapolis; one sister, Kathryn Smith, of Campbellsville, KY; three grandsons, and 5 great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, one son, James Everett Grant, 2 brothers, James and Marshall Grant, one sister, Edna McGaha and one great granddaughter, Ellah Grant. Funeral services will be Friday, Nov. 20 at 11:00 AM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Thursday at the funeral home from 4-8:00PM with a Masonic Memorial Service at 7:30 PM.
