Fannie Sue (Hix) Parker, 83, passed away at home with her family Friday, June 19, 2020.  She was born August 24, 1936 in Gallatin, Tennessee to Charles W. and Maude B. (Bohannon) Hix.

Fannie was small but mighty, a spitfire of a woman.  She was hard working, determined; always caring for her friends and family before she would care for herself.  She loved all animals.  Fannie was a good woman and friend and she was the best mom ever.  She loved her family, both by blood and by marriage, and they loved her as well.  Fannie will be forever missed.

Fannie is survived by her children, Ray (Nancy) Parker, Chuck (Laura) Parker, and Regina Parker; thirteen grandchildren; a "whole bunch" of great, and great-great grandchildren; sister-in-law, Willene Hix; and son-in-law, Marc Pulliam; and her beloved dog, Jaycee.

In addition to her parents, Fannie was preceded in death by her husband, Russell Parker; daughters, Barbara Pulliam and Joan Wolfe; and her brother, Robert Hix.

Family will receive friends Tuesday, June 23 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN  46143.  Funeral service will be Wednesday, June 24 at 10:00am, also at Forest Lawn.
