Fay D. White, 94, passed peacefully on July 9, 2017 in Brownsburg, Indiana. The daughter of Guy and Lola (Crawford) Dixon, Fay was born January 23, 1923 in Pinhook (Lawrence County), Indiana.

Fay is survived by sons and their wives, Dennis and Rhonda White of Fort Wayne and Richard and Shandra White of Indianapolis; daughter-in-law, Susie White of Columbus, Ohio; grandchildren, Cynthia Miller, David White, Jason White, Emily White, Ian Broad-White, Taylor White, Miriah White and Misha White and great-grandchildren, McKinsey Miller, Luke Miller, Ethan White, Brayden White and Lyla White. In addition to her parents, Fay was preceded in death by her husband, Harold B. White, on December 1, 2000, whom she married on October 14, 1944, and sons, Edward and James White.

For 20 plus years, Fay worked for the Internal Revenue Service in tax payer services.

Friends may call from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. on July 14, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, where services will be conducted at 1:00 p.m. Burial will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood.
