Floyd D. Edwards, 87, formerly of New Whiteland, died Sunday, February, 17, 2008 at Rosegate Nursing Home, Indianapolis. He was born on May 4, 1920. He had attended the Manual High School, Indianapolis and was employed as a sheet metal model worker with Tube Processing of Indianapolis. He enjoyed fishing, bowling, hunting (squirrel, rabbit) and was a hardworking family man. Survivors include his wife Evalyn M. Abrams Edwards, whom he married on March 29, 1941, two daughters and sons-in-law: Janice M. (Stephen) Thomas, Patricia R. (Carter) Gossett, three half- brothers, six half- sisters, five grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents and one half brother and one half-sister. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 AM on Thursday, February 21, 2008 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South St. Rd. 135, Greenwood. Friends may visit at the funeral home on Wednesday, February 20, 2008 from 4:00 until 8:00 PM. Memorial contributions may be made to the Alzheimer''s Association
