Forrest "Frosty" Robinson Passed away at home Wednesday, May 16 2007 at age 84. He was born in Lafayette, Indiana to Rubbin Robinson & Jean Scott Robinson. Frosty worked at grocers supply Co. for 50 years and retired as Vice President of Sales.
Forrest Married Ruby(Pabon)Robinson July 5,1967 also survived by his children Paul Robinson & Karen Robinson of Lafayette, Randy Mitchell of Lafayette ,Rebecca Mitchell of Franklin, and Robin Garmon of Greenwood.20 grandchildren,21 great grand children ,and 11 great great grand children. Mr Robinson is preceded in death by two daughters Sharon Dildine and Shannon Robinson and one grandson Mark Meyers.
Frosty served as Commandant for the Johnson County Marine Corps League for 5 years and Commander of the veterans of Foreign War Post 6978 for 2 years. He was also a member of the American Legion Post 252 for 50 years and was on the Honor Guard. He served in the United Marine Corps during World War II. He was also a member of the St Rose of Lima Catholic Church.
Frosty enjoyed fishing, Gardening, and traveling, spending time with his wife and visiting his friends at Hardees. Viewing will be Monday May 21, 2007 4-8 pm Service on Tuesday May 22, 2007 at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Funeral Home.
