Frances Rozell (Boyd) Scott, age 94, of Greenwood, passed away on February 4, 2014 at her daughter''s home in Trinity, Florida, where she had lived since August of 2013. Previously, she had lived with her son in Greenwood following the death of her husband, Sidney Earl Scott.
She was also preceded in death by her parents, David and Effie Hughes; sister, Jane Hall; first husband, Curtis Boyd and daughter, Barbara Ann Boyd. She is survived by her son, Charles C. Boyd; daughter, Charlotte Jackson; five grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandson.
Viewing will be Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood. Funeral service 10:00 a.m. Thursday, February 13, 2014 with Pastor Chris Page officiating. Burial following at Lincoln Memory Gardens, Whitestown. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to a Hospice or the American Heart Association.
