Frank L. Whitman, 64, of Greenwood, passed away October 5, 2012. The son of Frank William Whitman and Ruth Margaret (Northrup) Lohman, Frank was born October 11, 1947 in Indianapolis.
A salesman with HP Chemical, Frank was a member of Northern Park Baptist Church; a volunteer with Indiana Organ Procurement Organization (IOPO), The Harry E. Wood High School Alumni Association and was a 14 year heart transplant survivor.
Frank is survived by his wife, Janice E. (Brown) Whitman of Greenwood; son, F. Brian Whitman (Sean Lemieux) of Greenwood; daughter, Jennifer J. (Chris) Epps of Hendersonville, Tennessee; mother, Ruth M. Lohman of Mooresville; brothers, Warren R. Whitman of Mooresville and Richard Whitman of Michigan; sister, Marsha Lingle of Fishers; grandchildren, Ethan, Gabrielle and Nicole Whitman, all of Indianapolis and Noah and Tanner Epps of Hendersonville, Tennessee, and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. Monday, October 8, 2012 in Northern Park Baptist Church - 598 North Meridian Street, Greenwood, where friends may call after 10:00 a.m. Additional visitation will be held 3:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. Sunday, October 7, 2012 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
