Fred Edward Cherry, 76 a resident of Indianapolis, passed away at St. Francis Hospital and Health Center, Beech Grove on December 21, 2007. He was born April 29, 1931 in Indianapolis to the late James and LoDema Cherry. He married his loving wife Mary Roberts on October 16, 1949. Fred was an Indianapolis fireman and retired September 30, 1980. He is survived by three sons James and his wife Barbara, Glen and his wife Cathy, Jeffery and his wife Amanda; two daughters Janie and her husband James Hatton and Tina Carter; ten grandchildren and 5 great-grandchildren. He is preceded in death by sister Marjorie Eyster. He enjoyed watching the Indianapolis Colts, Nascar, and playing golf. Funeral service will be Friday, December 28, 2007,1:00PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, IN.
