Fred E. Patterson, 82 of Indianapolis passed away on October 12, 2018. Fred was born in Jackson, Tennessee on February 22, 1936 to Raybon and Pansie Patterson. Fred was a 30 year member of the Local 933 UAW. He enjoyed golfing and bowling. Fred and his wife enjoyed traveling and vacationing in their motor homes. Fred loved his family and will be greatly missed.

Fred is preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Donnie Patterson and Becky Smith.

Fred is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 59 years, Anna (Cozine) Patterson; son, Jeffery (Tina) Patterson; daughters, Ronda (Todd) Compton and Carolyn (Ron) Cochran; brother, Larry (Deena) Patterson; sisters, Claira Emmons and Pat Cunningham; grandchildren, Joshua (Kristie) Patterson, Jordan (Danny) Von Essen, Joel (Erin) Doolin, Hannah Cochran, Jessica (Jon) Means and Amanda Doolin; great grandchildren, Bryson Patterson, Avalynn Von Essen and Emrick Von Essen.
