Frederick "Fred" Allen Callaway, 86 of Greenwood, Indiana passed away on November 22, 2020.  He was born October 20, 1934 to the late Paul and Margaret (Lingren) Callaway in Peoria, Illinois.

He retired after 33 years as a computer programmer for Western Electric. Fred proudly served in the Army National Guard and was a member of the Northern Park Baptist Church in Greenwood.

Fred is survived by his loving wife Shirley June (Collins) Callaway, 6 sons; David (Sherry), Gary (Judy), William, James, Daryl, Paul (Leona) Callaway, 2 daughters; Barbara Padgitt, Cheryl (Doug) Thomas, his brother Dr. James (Pat) Callaway, 25 grandchildren, 13 great grand children, 7 nieces and 2 nephews..

In addition to his parents Fred was preceded in death by his daughter Debra VanDyke, his brother William Callaway and his sister June Callaway.

Services for Fred will be held on Friday November 27, 2020 at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 S. SR 135 Greenwood, IN 46143. Friends may visit from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will be in Forest Lawn Memory Garden.
