FRED E. WRIGHT, 79 of Indianaoplis, IN died January 21, 2008 at Village Oaks of Greenwood Assisted Living Facility. He was born on November 26, 1928 in Monticello, KY to Alfred and Melvina McCall Wright. He graduated from Wayne County High School, Monticello, KY and was employed as a mechanic and truck driver. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, tinkering with lawn-mowers and radio's. He was a member of the Indianapolis motor speedway Safety Patrol for 34 years.
He is survived by his son and daughter-in-law: Donnie and Pam Wright, two daughters: Patricia McGreevy and Brenda Stephens, five grandchildren and six great grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Thelma Louise, his parents and one infant sister.
The family would like to express our sincere gratitude and appreciation for everyone at Village Oaks who touched Fred''s life. We would especially like to thank Andi and Patti and the rest of the staff in the Memory Loss Unit for their patience, love and compassion during Fred''s stay.
Visitation will be held Thursday, January 24, 2008, 4-8 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. St. Rd. 135, Greenwood, IN. Interment will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Garden with Military honors.
