Fredricka Irene Stephens, age 72, of Greenwood, passed away Wednesday, June 19, 2013. She was born July 29, 1940 in Indianapolis to Fred and Eathel (Houston) Kilgore. Fredricka graduated from Emmerich Manual High School with the Class of 1958.

She married J.C. Stephens on September 21, 1963 and he survives her along with their son, Scott Stephens; brother, Ronald (Alice) Kilgore; sisters, Dorthea Nicholas, Norma (DeWayne) Presnell, and Karen (Gary) Fulk; several nieces and nephews, and "Nana''s boys". Fredricka was preceded in death by her parents and one brother, Donald Kilgore.

Funeral services will be held Monday, June 24, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday, from 4:00p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at the funeral home.
