Frieda Lawson, age 88, of Greenwood, passed away Thursday January 28. She was born July 11, 1921 in Ginsburg, Germany. She married Paul Lawson in 1957 and they moved to the U.S. in 1958. She is survived by her husband, as well as one son, Ralph Lawson, one daughter, Sylvia Pelfrey and one granddaughter, Nicole Pelfrey. Funeral services will be Monday, February 1, 2010 at 2:30 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood with entombment to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation is Monday from 12:30 pm until service time. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to the Disabled American Veterans (D.A.V.).
