Garner Lee Richey, 86 of Indianapolis, passed away on August 15, 2007 at the Beech Grove Meadows Nursing Home.
Born October 18, 1920 in Camby, IN, Garner served in the Marine Corps during World War II. He worked 35 years for International Harvester before retiring in 1974.
He is survived by his daughters, Garnet Blakley and Sheila Marshall, as well as nine grandchildren and several great grandchildren. Garner is preceded in death by his mother; Margaret Terrell, father; Arthur Richey, wife; Kathleen Dean, and two daughters; Beverly West and Joyce Butler.
Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM, Friday, August 17, 2007 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Calling will be at 10:00 AM. Entombment will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. www.forestlawncemetary-fh.com
