Mr. Garry Eugene York, Indianpolis, passed away Wednesday. October 13, 2021. He was 64. Garry was born September 15, 1957 in Indianapolis, Indiana a son of the late Eugene Ray and Billie C. (Little) York.

Garry attended John Marshall High School in Indianapolis and was a member of the graduating class of 1976. He enjoyed being outdoors and loved fishing and hunting. He also had an artistic talent and enjoyed woodworking and had built several cabinets, picture frames and shelves over the years. He also enjoyed making Christmas stockings for kids.

Garry also enjoyed building model cars and traveling to Tennessee. Garry loved his family and enjoyed spending time with them. He also enjoyed listening to country music in his spare time.

Garry is survived by his brother Dan (Joy) York; his nieces and nephews Melissa York, Matt York, Jessica (Jeff) Eastman and Stevie York Jr.

in addition to his parents, Garry is preceded in passing by his brother Stephen York, Sr.

A memorial service will be at 12:00 pm, Friday, November 5, 2021 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with visitation beginning one hour prior to the service.
