Gary Butner, 73, of Indianapolis, died Monday, January 18, 2010. Gary was born to the late James E. and Lora Friend Butner in Indianapolis on September 9, 1936. He had worked at General Motors in supervison and later at Jim Butner Auto in Clarksville, In. Gary married Martha J. Huntsman and she precedes. Surviving are a son: Gary W. Butner. Two daughters and a son in-law: Lana and Randy Blake, and Lora Butner. Two brothers: Jim and Jerry Butner. Three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. He is preceded by a brother, Bob and a sister Suzanne Butner. Family will receive friends from 4-8 PM Thursday. Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM Friday at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens and Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN 46143. Burial to follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
