Gary E. Miller, 79 of Greenwood passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023. He was born to the late David "Jack" and Evelyn Miller.

Gary was a Greenwood High School graduate, class of 1962. Gary loved being outdoors. He was a NASCAR/Jeff Gordon fan, a deer hunter, a bonfire aficionado, and an avid fan of IU and Center Grove sports. He supported and cheered on his grandchildren in their sports, pageants, horse shows, and all life endeavors. After retiring, he enjoyed spending his winters in Florida with his wife Nancy where they played golf and floated down the river on their boat. Most of all, he was proud of his family and loved them dearly.

Gary is survived by his wife of 24 years Nancy; children Rhonda (Scott) Smith and Jill (Keith) Bryant; step children Greg (Jennifer) Coy and Michael (Traci) Coy; grandchildren Chad (Kalyn) Smith, Chelsea (Jacob) Stevens, Danielle Parker, Conner Bryant, Nathaniel (Kylie) Coy, Nicholas (Corynn) Coy, Nolan Coy, Noah Coy and Liv Mason; four great grandchildren and a brother Ronnie (Judy) Miller. He is preceded in death by both parents.

Visitation will be Tuesday, October 24, 2023 from 3:00 PM to 7:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. There will be a short visitation Wednesday, October 25 from 10:00 AM until the time of service at the funeral home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM at the funeral home.
Burial for Mr. Miller will be private.
