Gary Gullans, 64, of Beech Grove, passed away April 29, 2017. The son of Roger and Betty Lou Sharkey Gullans, Gary was born March 26, 1953 in Beech Grove, Indiana.

Gary was a veteran of the Untied States Navy. He received his Masters Degree from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Gary was a systems safety engineer with Science Applications International Corporation for 12 years.

Gary enjoyed riding motorcycles, range shooting and taking his rod and reel and going to his favorite fishing hole.

Gary is survived by his wife, Arilla J. Duffer Gullans of Beech Grove; son, Michael O. Gullans of Jacksonville, Florida; stepson, Morgan C. (Amanda) Jones of Indianapolis and stepdaughter, Brooke L. (Nick) Winings of Indianapolis; brother, David Gullans of Arizona; sister, Nancy Sluder of Waco, Texas; one grandson; five step-grandsons and one step-granddaughter.

Funeral services 7:00 p.m. May 3, 2017 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home - 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood. Friends may call from 5:00 p.m. to the time of the service.

Family has suggested that memorial contributions be made to Wheeler Mission Ministries - PO Box 3085 Indianapolis, Indiana 46206-3085.
