Gary D. Henderson, 81, of Indianapolis, died March 11, 2016. Born January 25, 1935 in Heltonville, Indiana, he was the son of the late Patrick and Evelyn (Eddington) Henderson.

Gary worked as a truck driver in the transportation industry, and retired after 36 years of service. He was a member of Christian Chapel Church and Teamsters Union Local #135.

Survivors are; his wife, Louise; three sons, Michael W. Henderson, Gary D. Henderson Jr., and David Knight. two daughters, Deborah J. Henderson and Suzanne Lowe; a brother, Mike Henderson, and a sister, Carol Hutchinson; 15 grandchildren, and 16 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; 4 brothers, Charles, Patrick, Jerry and Donald Henderson, and a sister, Dorothy Deckard.

Funeral services will be at 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, March 16, 2016 in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, IN. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until time of service Wednesday at the funeral home.
