Gary M. West, 54, of Greenwood, passed away April 27, 2014 at his residence. Born February 1, 1960 in Indianapolis, he was the son of Francis Lee and Betty (Morton) West. He married Sherri R. Wells on December 28, 1991 in Garland, Texas.

Gary worked as a Human Resources Manager for Cardon Senior Housing in Indianapolis. He was a member of Mount Pleasant Christian Church. He enjoyed playing Christian and Southern Rock Music and was a bass guitar player for The Big Whiskey Band.

He is survived by his wife, Sherri; father, Francis West; three sons, Matthew, Tony and Mitchell West; two daughters, Mandi and Brittany West; brother, Joe West; sister, Cindy (West) Caywood; six grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty West.

Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM Saturday May 3, 2014 at Mount Pleasant Christian Church with visitation from 11:00 AM until time of service. Burial will follow in Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
