Geraldine C. "Jerry" Walls, age 80 of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, May 28, 2012 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born June 10, 1931 in San Bernardino, CA to Franklin Edison and Verla Betty (McCormick) Packard. She attended the University of California and worked with the Perry Township School system for many years. Jerry married Donald Walls and he preceded her in death on December 19, 2010. She loved to garden, do crossword puzzles and travel.
Jerry is survived by her daughter, Diane Bradford; sister, Diana Packard; grandchildren, Andrea Bradford (fianc Scott Carlson) and Amy Bradford (fianc Nick Padgett) and Cody Bradford; great grandchildren, Nicholas, Noah and Lincoln. She was also preceded in death by her parents and son, Donald D. Walls.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 1, 2012 at 2:00 pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with visitation from 12 pm until service time. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Memorial contributions may be made to the Humane Society of the donor''s choice.
