Genelle Rutledge, 88, of Greenwood, Indiana, formerly of Greenwood, Arkansas, passed away on July 28, 2017. She was born on June 30, 1929, to the late Jerry and Katherine Been of Pocola, Oklahoma.
She is survived by her husband of 67 years, Lloyd T. Rutledge of Greenwood, Indiana; four daughters, Susan (Rex) Tapp of Smithfield, Kentucky; Lynn Selan of Greenwood, Indiana; Gail (Tom) Dory of Gilbert, Arizona; Nancy (Bob) Craft of Crown Point, Indiana; one brother and sister-in- law, Jack and Virginia Been of Pocola, Oklahoma; seven grandchildren, Amy Davis, Brendon Tapp, Jenny McCandless, Stefan Selan, Rachel Dory, Emily Dory, and Julia Dory; and four great-grandchildren, Maeva Tapp, Emmett Tapp, Amelie Tapp, and Kellan Davis. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Dale and Billy Ray Been. She was a member of Timbers Edge condo community where she enjoyed participating in playing cards and community pitch-ins. She was a homemaker, a loving wife and mother, and an amazing grandmom and great-grandmom. Private services after cremation will be at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
