Genie A. Frey, 81, of Indianapolis passed away November 3, 2017. She was born on July 13, 1936 to Joseph Harrison and Betsy Dulworth.

Genie like to make people laugh, she loved kids and animals and enjoyed gambling and playing cards. She was a caring, strong, hardworking wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother and sister. Richard and Genie enjoyed shopping together and taking trips where she would sing to him in the car to keep him from falling asleep.

She is survived by her loving husband of 29 years, Richard L. Frey; sons, Wallace (Barbara) Harvey and Mark Wayne Harvey; daughter, Deborah (Douglas) Peters; brother, Hershel Dulworth; sister, Daisy Lucille Jordan; grandchildren, Derek Harvey, Amanda Harvey, Angela Harvey, Jacob Harvey, Elizabeth Hoppstetter, Laura Peters and Kimberly Hlava; 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.

Visitation will be held on Monday, November 6 from 4:00 pm - 8:00 pm in Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood. A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, November 7 at 10:00 am, also in the funeral home. Burial will follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
