George Max Choban, Jr., age72 of Indianapolis died Wednesday, July 22, 2009. Born December 20, 1936 in Indianapolis, IN, he was the son of George Sr. and Nellie L. (Haddox) Choban. He is survived by his wife of 48 years Marcella I. Simpson Choban. George was President of Independent Window Cleaning , Choban Realty and Independent Aircraft Leasing. He attended Edgewood United Methodist Church; Past President of West Side Optimist Club; 50 year Mason of Lodge 657; Scottish Rite; Murat Shrine for 35 years; Elks Club Lodge #13; American Legion; was a member of B''nai B''rith 2192; and was a coach in the Northside Football League. George was also a pilot for 60 years. His is survived by his wife, Marci, son G. Douglas Choban, daughters Jaelynn Choban, January Spencer, Christina Choban and Lori (Justin) Bishop. 7 grandchildren, Amanda, Kari, George, Corey, Jacob, Bradley and Troy and 4 great-grandchildren, Kaylee, Brenden, Tyler and Krista Visitation will be from 11:00am until 3:00pm Saturday, July 25th at Forest Lawn Funeral Home 1977 South State Road 135 in Greenwood, IN 46143.
