George L. Staab, age 81, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, December 14, 2015 with his loving family at his side. George was born April 1, 1934 in Gary, to George T. and Ruth (VanBlack) Staab. He was a graduate of Lew Wallace High School with the Class of 1952. George attended and graduated from the University of Chicago with the Class of 1958, with a Bachelors Degree in Biology. He worked in many fields of Biology from Forensic Analyst to Sales and many other areas. He was a member of Village Bible Church, the Moose Lodge East, Indy Dancers, Master Yun''s Tae Kwan Do, and a lifetime member of Bally''s Gym. He will be greatly missed by all who know him.

George married the former Donna Nolan Terhune on June 25, 1989 in Indianapolis and she survives him along with his son, Gregory B. (Lisa) Staab, of Alta, CA; daughter, Lisa Ann (Chester) Johnson, of Greenwood; five grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be held Friday, December 18, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with Pastor Ken Dalton officiating. Visitation will be from 4:00 p.m. until the time of service in the funeral home. Burial will follow at a later date in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
