Obituary

Gerald "Jerry" Ray Dudderar, 74, of Whiteland, passed away June 25, 2016. The son of Julian Ray and Elizabeth Dawson Dudderar, Jerry was born November 8, 1941 in McKinney, Kentucky.

He was a member of Southport Church of the Nazarene. Jerry was a veteran of the U.S. Army. In 1987, he retired from the U.S. Army at Fort Benjamin Harrison as a heavy equipment operator.

Jerry is survived by his wife, Phyllis J. Greene Dudderar of Whiteland, whom he married in Indianapolis on October 19, 1963; daughter, Tonya R. Rohlfing of Greenwood; brother, John (Charlene) Dudderar of Lancaster, KY; sisters, Cora (Ronald) Floyd of Stanford, KY and Betty Jo (Ken) Jackson of Cromwell, CT; grandchildren, Cody Hunt and Taylor Rohlfing. In addition to his parents, Jerry was preceded in death by a sister, Linda Layton.

Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. June 29, 2016 at Southport Church of the Nazarene - 920 East Southport Road, where services will start at 12:00 p.m. Burial with military honors will follow at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens, Greenwood, Indiana.
