Gerald "Jerry" A. Tomey, 72 of Brownsburg, Indiana passed away peacefully on Sunday, February 1, 2026. He was born to the late Donald and Wilma Tomey.

Jerry loved his job of 28 years at PWR Advanced Cooling Technology, Indianapolis (formerly C&R Racing) . Jerry said "He would never retire because this was like his second family". He was easy going and very kind. Jerry enjoyed racing, vacationing, loved eating out with family and friends.

Jerry is survived by his siblings Julia (Mike) Shaffer and Jamie (Deanna) Tomey; nieces and nephews Joseph (Kristi) Shaffer, Dylan Tomey, Kelli Shaffer, Kaylee (Michael) Pfeffer and Emily Tomey; great nephews and great nieces Braedyn Shaffer, Greyson Pfeffer, Hudson Pfeffer and Brooklyn Shaffer. He is proceeded in death by both parents Donald and Wilma Tomey.

A visitation will be Saturday, February 7, 2026, from 11:00 am until the time of service at Deliverance Temple Life Center. A funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm at the church. Jerry will be laid to rest on Thursday, February 12, 2026 at 11:00 am at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens.
