Gertrude Ann (Hollander) Reynolds, 83, of Mooresville, passed away in her home surrounded by her family July 24 , 2020.  She was born March 23, 1937 in Beech Grove to Douwe "Doc" and Trijntje "Tina" ( DeGroot ) Hollander.

Gertrude is a first generation US citizen whose parents immigrated from Holland in 1929.  She graduated from Beech Grove High School.  She married her true love, Francis "Al" Reynolds, on May 25, 1958 and together they raised 4 children. Gert ie was the best wife and mother.  She enjoyed reading and word search puzzles to keep her mind sharp. Gert ie liked to drive and would take the kids and their friends wherever they needed to go when they were growing up.  At home, she could most likely be found in the garden tending to her flowers. Gert ie never knew a stranger and was everyone's mom.  She loved her family dearly and will be greatly missed.

Gert ie will be remembered by her husband of 62 years, Al; children, Beckie Jacobs, Eric Reynolds, Curtis (Becky) Reynolds, and Tina (Nick) Nixon; grandchildren, James Jacobs III, Devon (Tanner) McCarty, Lucas (Harley) R eynolds, Jacob Reynolds, Caleb R eynolds, Jessica (Randy) Scott and Emilie Reynolds; great grand children, Kambree Reynolds, Jame son Reynolds, and Jacelyn Scott; brothers, Edward ( Marleah ) Hollander and George Hollander; and many, many nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Gert ie was preceded in death by her son-in-law, Jim Jacobs; sister-in-law Debbie Hollander and daughter-in-law Michele Reynolds .

Family will receive friends Wednesday, July 29 from 10:00am - 2:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 South State Road 135, Greenwood, IN  46143, with service to follow at 2:00pm, officiated by Pastor Bob Hawkins.
