Gladys Aretta Lucas, 96, of Hustonville, KY passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at Stanford Care and Rehabilitation. Born on June 28, 1925 to the late William Warren Hicks and the late Marie Tiller. She was the widow of the late Lewis Washington Lucas.

She enjoyed crochet, making henhouse pudding, playing Yahtzee and ceramics. She was of the Baptist faith and attended Indian Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors include two children, Sally Langdon of Hustonville and Billy Joe Lucas (Terry) of Indianapolis, IN; two brothers, Raymond Anderson of Richmond, KY and Kenneth Deweese of Corydon, IN; one half-brother, Tommy Suggs; several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lewis Washington Lucas; parents, William Hicks and Marie Tiller; one son, Wayne Lee Lucas; daughter-in-law, Juanita Lucas; son-in-law, Homer Langdon; one brother, Francis Hicks; one sister, Mildred Jean Thompson; and foster parents, Vardaman and Maria Moore.
