Gloria Jean Bell, age 68, of Indianapolis, passed away Monday, August 31, 2015 at her home. She was born August 5, 1947 in Nancy, KY to Robert and Dorothy Brown. Jean was a CNA for many years and she enjoyed BINGO, crossword puzzles, gardening and spending time with her family. She married John L. Bell in Brown Co. on September 22, 1963 and he preceded her in death on January 6, 2015. Jean was also preceded in death by her parents and brother, Robert Brown.

Jean is survived by her son, Chris (Cindy) Bell of Beech Grove; daughters, Gaylan Bell of Indianapolis and Carrie (David) Berry of Martinsville; brother, Larry (Peggy) Brown of Hopkinsville, KY; sister, Terri (Paul) Pennington of WV; 9 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until service time in the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to St. Jude Children''s Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place Memphis, TN 38105.
