Gordon Wayne Shull, 75, passed away on March 21, 2012. Gordon was born on September 2, 1936 to the late Bert and Florence (Cox) Shull. Gordon served in the U.S. Marines from 1954 thru 1957. He married his love Lucy M. Brown on June 17, 1956.
Gordon completed a 4 year apprenticeship in the electrical field and was a Journeyman Wireman for IBEW Local 481 for 34 years. He worked for Ermco Electric for many years before retiring in 1995. Gordon enjoyed golfing. He very much loved his family and will be missed by all.
Gordon is survived by his loving wife Lucy of 55 years; their children: Chuck Shull (Pam) and Scott Shull (Barbie); 5 grandchildren: Shawntell Ainsworth (Ryan), Jacob Shull (Rhonda), Melissa Shull, Ian Shull (Candice), and Katie Shull; and 6 great-grandchildren: Lacey, Cameron, Kalob, Ryleigh, Addie, and Grayson.
Visitation will be on Sunday, March 25, 2012 from 1:00 p.m. until 3:00 p.m. at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Rd. 135, Greenwood with the funeral immediately following. Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association and/or Muscular Dystrophy Association.
