Gracie E. Taylor, age 84, of Greenwood, passed away Friday Nov. 5 in Greenwood. She was born April 20, 1925 in Liberty, KY to James and Ida Hughett Derringer. She was a homemaker who enjoyed cooking and gardening. She married Ausbie Taylor April 4, 1943 and he preceded her in death Nov. 29, 1997.She is survived by her sons, Phillip,of Lebanon, Tony, of Indianapolis, and Darrell Taylor,and Darrell''s wife, Cindy, of Indianapolis; daughters Rita Samuels, and her husband,Marshall, of Bradenton, Fl, Roberta Jones, and her husband Carl, of Eaton, IN, Jerri Dykes, and her husband Jim, of Greenwood, Janice Flaugher, and her husband, Johnny , of Indianapolis, Gloria Byard, and her husband, Danny, of Ocala, FL,Karen Davis, of Liberty, KY and Shelia Taylor, of Indianapolis; 2 sisters, Joyce Atwood, of California, and Velma Allen, of Vevay, IN; 25 grandchildren, 46 great grandchildren and 9 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, 5 brothers and 3 sisters. Funeral Services will be Wednesday, Nov. 11 at 1:00pm at Forest Lawn Funeral Home with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Wednesday from 11:00am until service time.
