Grady Shaw, age 74, of Indianapolis, passed away Wednesday, May 23, 2012 at his home with his family at his side. He was born June 16, 1937 in Lockhart, SC to Letcher Oliver and Maude Mae (Mathes) Shaw. Grady was a steelworker of Crown Steel Sales for many years. He was an avid horse racing fan, and loved country and western music.
Grady married the former Marianne Stanislawa Antosz on May 27, 1967 in Chicago, IL and she survives along with sons, Frank (Denise) Shaw, Anthony Shaw and Stephen Floyd (Dorothy) Shaw; brothers, Roger (Molly) Shaw and Bob Shaw; four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and sisters, Gladys, Ruby and Hazel.
Funeral services will be held Friday, May 25, 2012 at 2:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, Greenwood, with burial to follow in Forest Lawn Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00 Noon until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to the family in honor of Grady.
