Gretchen G. Weddle 91, of Surprise, AZ, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2024. She was born September 16, 1932 to the late John Henry Taylor and Ida M. Taylor in Hammon, OK.

Gretchen was a lifelong resident of Midwest City, OK before moving to Indianapolis, IN, then to Phoenix, AZ. She was a former member of Country Estates Baptist Church, Midwest City, OK and Maranatha Church, Oklahoma City, OK.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 60 years. Willie O. Weddle, her mother Ida M. Taylor, father John H. Taylor. She is survived by three loving children. Mark O. Weddle (Julie) of Lees Summit, MO. Marsha K. Weddle Erickson (Ron) of Phoenix, AZ., and Jenny L. Weddle Baker (Kim) of Lake Villa, IL. Other survivors include grandchildren, Mandy Weddle Fletcher (James), Jill Weddle Shaver, Bill Erickson (Michele), Cecelia Erickson Hendee (Jason), Amelia Erickson Ericson (Joel), Jason Baker (Amanda), Shelly Baker DeBello. Other survivors include, 18 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, five niece's and many other family members and friends.

A celebration of life will be held at a later date in Indianapolis, IN.
