Gunter W. Beuke, 76 of Greenwood, passed away May 11, 2007. He was born in Minden, Germany and immigrated to America with his family in 1954. He became a U.S. citizen in 1960. Gunter was the founder and owner of Old Country Craftsman for more than 40 years. He is preceded in death by his father Wilhelm Beuke and daughter Roswitha Beuke Hunt. He is survived by his loving wife, Pauline Beuke; mother Emma Beuke; sisters, Ursula Conover and Ingrid Renholzberger; daughters, Karin Beuke Tryon, Sandra Beuke Serpico and Heather Beuke Diers; sons, Steven Beuke and David G. Beuke; 9 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. In celebration of his life, a memorial service will be held on Wednesday, May 23rd at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 1977 S. State Road 135, Greenwood, at 6:00 PM. The visitation time will be from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM the day of the service.
