H. Leo Hornbrook, 95 of Greenwood passed away peacefully on Friday, February 3, 2023. He was born to the late William H. and Eunice Hornbrook.
Leo loved people and loved meeting new folks. Let's say, he knew no strangers. He loved bowling with Bonnie and talking everyone's ears off. His best loved was going to the great grandchildren's sporting events. Leo enjoyed making memories with the grandchildren.
Leo loved eating out at Fujiyama and Lindo Mexico. He worked for Roselyn Bakery for 50 years and worked his
way up to Vice President of sales. Leo was an United States Army Veteran who served in World War II.
Leo is survived by his son Michael (Rita) Hornbrook; grandchildren Bonnie (Jeremy) Moynahan, Daniel (Holly) Hornbrook, Chris (Lyndsey) Hornbrook, Amy (Greg) Rice, Ryan (Amanda) Hahn and Traci (Tony) Mancini; 16 great grandchildren and a sister Norma. He is preceded in death by his lovely wife Bonnie; son Rick Hornbrook and a daughter Sue Hahn.
A visitation will be held Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 3:00 to 7:00 PM at Forest Lawn Funeral Home. Funeral service will begin at 11:00 AM on Friday at the funeral home. Leo will be laid to rest next to his wife Bonnie at Forest Lawn Memory Gardens with full military honors.
